Being Beautiful

My friend, Maia, actually made me think of this. Hopefully, it doesn't seem like I'm stealing her idea. But I just wanted to say that there's a lot of negativity about being yourself. You can't be yourself without society judging you. There's girls (and boys) around the world wanting to look perfect. They want someone to tell them that they are beautiful or handsome.

Now a days, people care about being perfect. They get cosmetic surgery, they pile on makeup, they work out constantly, and they starve themselves. But what they don't notice is that they already are beautiful. There's so many beautiful people out there that think, "Oh, I'm too fat. I'm not beautiful. I need to work out more." You know what? No, you're aren't fat. No, you ARE beautiful. No, you don't need to work out more. All you need to be is happy and healthy. You don't need to starve yourself to look beautiful.

When you look in the mirror, most people don't see themselves. They just see what they THINK they look like. That's what society has done to us. They have corupted the image of beauty.

I hope in the years to come, society will change. They will say, curves are amazing. I pray that will happen, but then in the back of my mind, I know that'll never happen. But all you can do is hope and pray.

No matter what, you ARE beautiful. You ARE perfect. You ARE worthy.

You're gorgeous,
Sami<3
